Why tho

So, I am just wondering why turtles get all hidey when people are near them.  Because people are all like "oh, they evolved so much that they hide in their shells when predators are near"
Which I understand perfectly.

But then I realized, if they had all this time to evolve since prehistoric ages, why are they not evolved enough to know who is a predator and who is not?

Because when, say, an innocent toddler walks up to a turtle and literally doesn't even touch it and the turtle can clearly see it's just a human toddler, shouldn't it be evolved enough to  be like "oh, okay. Hey bro. You're not a coyote. We're good."

But it doesn't.

It just hides in its shell.

Ugh.

Angry Blogging Routine + More weird art

So I guess I've hit a metaphorical wall or something, because in the first few days of this I was all like, "wow! I can post so much! I will post every day like a ninja!"

But then I realized I don't necessarily want to do that, and not wanting to do things is basically my exact reason for not doing many of the things I don't do.

But then I was like, "I don't want to completely give up, either", because I don't, especially not on something so new.

So then I decided that this post is basically going to be a weird article about my mental process and then I would draw some SumoPaint stuff and then just tack the SumoPaint stuff onto the end of this post.


So basically I'm just going to state how it works when I decide I don't want to do something.

1. Something good is happening and I am doing something productive
2.  Universe gets angry at this.  Universe realizes that me doing things right isn't okay!
3. Even air particles are angry at me for doing things right because it defies the laws of nature.
4. I take a breath, the angry air particles travel to my brain.
5. They take over!
6. I am now angry at everything, too
7. I'm angry at the sun
8. I'm angry at humans
9. I'm angry at dogs
10. I'm angry at me
11. I'm angry at everything  I am doing and everything I've done.
12. Oh no! This blog lands in #11's category! I am angry at the blog!
13. I hate the blog and it offends me.
14. Why should I contribute to something that offends me?
15. I am not going to contribute to things that offend me.
16. I am never writing a single word again,
17. Mom tells me I am a good writer.
18. Ego inflates.
19.  Anger inflates!
20. I am angry at my being happy!
21. However, I am getting slightly less angry,
22. Anger deflates a little.
23. Blog begins to stop offending me slightly.
24. A strange force draws me towards my computer.
25. I begin to write a post.
26. I continue it.

27. Cycle begins again.

So I'm around section 25 of the routine.


Now for the weird art!

This one is entitled "Ragey Things" because it includes things that commonly make me ragey.



So I was just going to do that, but drawing dogs makes me want to draw more dogs, so here's some more dogs.

They are not my best dogs, I promise you I can draw better dogs.

But these are the only dogs you're getting today.

The story of "Yesterday"

So I said I wasn't going to post anything more but here I am.  I didn't link this blog to my YouTube yet, so I did the thing I said I wasn't and didn't do the thing I said I was.

The usual.

Well, in the last post I mentioned my friend Carter's blog called "Yesterday"

You may think the title is all deep and stuff and that he is probably some sort of modern Ghandi or something.
He's not.
Well, actually, maybe he is. But it has nothing to do with his blog.

So we were facetiming and I was showing my family members his amazing pink hair and he was looking up random websites, and then i just blurted out "you should make a blog"

And Carter is just Carter and he said "Okay."

and then he was silent for a little while. And then he said "how?".

And I said, "just use your Google account to make a Blogger one, but don't fall for anything like Weebly because Weebly sucks"

and then Carter said "I'll do it later"

And I guess he was tired and had decided not to do it and probably wanted to play minecraft or something, but then I screamed "NO! You're a day late! That blog is going to be so awesome that you should've done it YESTERDAY"

So he begrudgingly made the site, and he was trying to think of a title.

I told him to name it "spiders", and then I told him to name it "lots of spiders"

and then I told him to name it "lots and lots o' spiders".

He then decided to name it Yesterday because, DUN DUN, i had told him to make it Yesterday blah blah blah.
